News from the Schools
After a nationwide school closure due to the coronavirus, schools in Zambia are once again open for all students to attend.
Fox Valley Lutheran – Trip
The VCF is deeply grateful for the partnership with Fox Valley Lutheran Schools, a collaboration that has resulted in tremendous financial support for the schools over the last three years. FVL sent a team of students to work in the schools in summer 2019. Mrs. Denise Schlawin led the group and reports: Eleven students and two adults traveled to Lusaka. While there, we taught an art lesson on pattern, taught the account of Noah’s Ark and helped to paint around the schools.

Bernard Kulu came into contact with his Savior Jesus while he was attending school at our church. Bernard is now a full member of our congregation. He sings in the choir.
Donor Trip
16 people from the upper Midwest traveled last June to Zambia to visit the schools and learn about the ministry of the Lutheran Church of Central Africa
Fox Valley Lutheran High School – FVL
Since August, 2015, The VCF has had a partnership with the FVL Schools, an association of 22 elementary schools and Fox Valley Lutheran High School (FVL), all located in the Fox River Valley of northeastern Wisconsin.
